CAS Project - Helping Teach and Plan The Investing A-Term LO3 (Service)
For my CAS Project, I led a course I planned to do last year. In the fall of 2020, I and Sierra planned to do an Investing J-Term, but it was canceled due to the coronavirus after all of the work we put in. This year, I decided to revisit this idea, so that I could offer our school's community an opportunity to learn about Investing. For a few weeks before the course took place, I revisited topics to cover and re-familiarized myself with all of the material I would help teach. Then, for two weeks, I helped teach a group of students how to invest. Although I received help from the teacher and she taught as well, I had a very large role when it came to introducing all of the topics and facilitating the class throughout the day so that we could have a fun, productive course.
