Service - Women's Resource Fundraiser LO6

     For the month of January, I am doing a fundraiser for an organization called The Women's Resource. This organization helps women become financially literate so that they can have better relationships with their money. Many people are uneducated on Finances, and this issue is further amplified for women, which brings up the need for these organizations. As someone who is very passionate about financial literacy, I have a strong connection with their mission and the money I am donating will be used to advertise and find more women to teach in Houston, and will also pay for the teachers who are helping these women become financially literate. So far, I have raised $240, but I plan to be able to donate around $750 (all of my earnings from January) to help these women become financially independent!
