Creative - More Music! LO2

     For my Music, I have been making a lot of typical Hip-Hop samples, but I decided, for this month, to create Jazz inspired samples. Previously, I had little experience with Jazz, so it was very difficult to make. My first few samples were very bad, but I as I tried to analyze what may be wrong, I realized that I had been to analytical while making the music. Unlike say Pop or Rap, making the melodies for Jazz is all about feel, and not so much about doing what is correct theory wise. Once I began doing this, I found that my ideas flowed out more effortlessly, as I tried not to be analytical with what I made, and instead just play without much thought. While this took some practice to do, I have improved my music making capabilities, and have learned a new genre that I can take techniques from, and apply to others.
