Activity - Golf Tournament LO2

On February 3rd, I had a Golf Tournament which was stressful to say the least. While I do love playing golf, the nerves of people in your group watching you play and the pressure to score well for your team made it stressful. However, as usual, my competitiveness kicked in and overrode any fears I had of failure, but as the case is with any round of golf, I had some setbacks. Whether it was pushing a drive to the left, or rimming out a putt, I was faced with numerous setbacks but if there's one thing I learned from that day it's that you cannot focus on things you previously messed up on. If I hadn't have kept a positive mindset throughout that day, I would have shot much lower than I did. In the past, I have had some rounds where I was negative about bad shots I hit and, as a result, I scored poorly. However, keeping my cool in a high pressure situation has taught me the importance of staying positive, even when you mess up!
